CHFS provides comprehensive care to children and youth with special health care needs who: are KY residents, are younger than 21, and meet medical eligibility. For a third year in a row, CHFS has awarded Marty’s Orchid House with $15,000 for a Registered Nurse’s (RN) salary, totaling $45,000 since 2018! What an enormous impact this makes to our growing organization. We employ and staff 1 RN for every 6 children daily to provide skilled pediatric nursing care and coordination of services for complex needs. These are our highest-paid professional staff who make up the bulk of our annual budget. CHFS supports innovative healthcare solutions for vulnerable populations and we are proud to be considered as such!
